Inleiding

Een relatief onbekende aandoening die verantwoordelijk is voor veel gevallen van lies- en heuppijn bij jonge sporters is femoroacetabulair impingement (FAI). Het gaat hierbij om een relatief nieuwe diagnose binnen de medische wereld, die vaak over het hoofd wordt gezien.
