Samenvatting

Echoscopie als beeldvormende diagnostische techniek wordt breed toegepast in de geneeskunde. Belangrijke redenen voor de diagnostische toepassing in de gynaecologie en verloskunde zijn de veiligheid in vergelijking met andere beeldvormende technieken, de lage kosten en het gebruiksgemak.
