Houd eetstoornis NAO in de GGZ

Samenvatting

De vergoeding en daarmee de professionele behandeling van de eetstoornis NAO staan onder druk. Eind 2014 adviseerde het Zorginstituut Nederland de minister om met uitzondering van de psychotische stoornis NAO de ‘restcategorie NAO’ (in de DSM-5 voortaan ‘niet nader beschreven’ genoemd) niet langer onder het pakket van de geneeskundige GGZ te laten vallen. Inmiddels is dit advies opgeschort, maar ik maak me zorgen dat dit toch gebeurt. Ernstige eetstoornissen die niet aan de diagnoses anorexia of bulimia nervosa en de eetbuistoornis voldoen, kunnen dan niet meer worden behandeld.
