Persoonlijke continuïteit in de huisartsenpraktijk in de context van de 21ste eeuw

Samenvatting

In deze vijfde Huygenlezing wil ik vertellen hoe het komt dat persoonlijke continuïteit als een hoeksteen van de huisartsgeneeskunde wordt gezien. Is er wel enig bewijs voor het belang van continuïteit of is het alleen geloof? Vervolgens kijk ik naar de bedreigingen voor het voortbestaan van persoonlijke continuïteit en ten slotte doe ik een aantal suggesties voor verder onderzoek.
