Samenvatting

Prenatale zorg, een vorm van preventieve geneeskunde, omvat de zorg aan zwangeren voorafgaand aan de geboorte van het kind.
De hoofddoelen van de prenatale zorg zijn:
In dit hoofdstuk worden de routine prenatale zorg, de voorlichting en het advies bij veelvoorkomende klachten in de zwangerschap en de mogelijkheden voor screening en diagnostiek besproken.
