Samenvatting

Hoesten is een van de meest voorkomende redenen voor patiënten om naar de huisarts te gaan. Meestal gaat het om ongecompliceerde bovensteluchtweginfecties. De incidentie op het spreekuur van de huisarts is 34 per 1000 personen. De incidentie is bij kinderen tot 4 jaar het hoogst (<1 jaar: 230; 1-4 jaar: 185).
