Samenvatting

Dit hoofdstuk schetst hoe je een leiderschapsrol in je eigen team kunt vervullen. Wat voor een soort team zijn jullie eigenlijk en hoe kun je leiderschap tonen in jullie team? We laten zien wat er nodig is om jouw team optimaal te laten presteren en wat de invloed is van de organisatiecultuur op kwaliteitsverbetering en zorguitkomsten. Daarnaast beschrijven we hoe verpleegkundig leiderschap in de organisatie verankerd kan worden. Nadat we eerst toelichten wat we verstaan onder de term ‘leren’, gaan we nader in op het leren van individuen en het inrichten van de werkplek als leerplek. We schenken hierbij ook aandacht aan de wijze waarop een zorginstelling een lerende werkomgeving kan faciliteren. Het hoofdstuk wordt afgesloten met een casusbeschrijving rondom het versterken van rolmodelgedrag van hbo-verpleegkundigen.
