15 Organisatorische implementatiestrategieën

Samenvatting

  • Organisatorische strategieën voor implementatie van vernieuwingen kunnen betrekking hebben op het microniveau (aanpassing van professionele rollen en teams voor patiëntenzorg), het mesoniveau van zorginstellingen (kennismanagement, kwaliteitsmanagement), of het macroniveau van het gezondheidszorgsysteem (wetgeving, financiering).
  • De meeste van deze organisatorische strategieën kunnen professioneel handelen, patiëntuitkomsten en kosten gunstig beïnvloeden. Uitzonderingen zijn de verschillende onderdelen van kwaliteitsmanagement, waarvoor weinig bewijs in gecontroleerd onderzoek is gevonden naar de effectiviteit hiervan.
  • De effecten van organisatorische strategieën variëren sterk, hetgeen deels samenhangt met de precieze samenstelling van de strategie en deels met kenmerken van de omgeving waarin deze wordt toegepast. Uit onderzoek komt geen duidelijk beeld naar voren van wat de belangrijkste determinanten zijn.
