Kernpunten

  • Kenmerkend voor keratosis pilaris is een als schuurpapier aanvoelende huid.
  • Voorkeurslokalisaties zijn de strekzijde van de bovenarmen, de buitenzijde en achterzijde van de bovenbenen en de billen.
  • De aandoening is onschuldig en behoeft meestal geen behandeling.
  • Een vette crème of zalf kan de huid verzachten; bij ernstige klachten kan hieraan een keratolyticum en bij ontsteking een zwak corticosteroïd worden toegevoegd.
