Samenvatting
Pierre X, 74 jaar, heeft aan de linkerkant van het lichaam restverschijnselen ten gevolge van een ischemisch cerebrovasculair accident (CVA) in de rechterhemisfeer. Vanwege de lichte restklachten ten aanzien van loopfunctie, conditie en fijnmotorische problemen in de linkerhand is meneer na thuiskomst door de huisarts direct verwezen naar de fysiotherapeut/kinesitherapeut en ergotherapeut voor verdere behandeling. Meneer wil graag zijn spierkracht, zijn conditioneel loopvermogen en zijn functionele loopafstand verbeteren. De ergotherapeut gaat de arm-/handfunctie van meneer trainen met aandacht voor de handknijpkracht, grove en fijne motoriek. Tevens is er aandacht voor functionele training, participatie en dagbesteding. Naar verwachting zal meneer weer grotendeels terugkeren op het ‘oude’ niveau van voor het CVA.
