Kernpunten

  • Acute ontsteking van een oorlel berust meestal op een bacteriële infectie bij het dragen van oorsieraden.
  • Chronische ontsteking van oorlel berust meestal op een contactallergie, vaak voor nikkel.
  • Vaak volstaan verwijdering van het oorsieraad en behandeling met desinfectantia.
  • Bij impetiginisatie of erysipelas is antibiotische behandeling noodzakelijk.
