Samenvatting

In dit hoofdstuk wordt de betekenis van het aantreffen van een seksueel overdraagbare aandoening (soa) bij minderjarigen besproken. Hierbij zal per soa uitgebreid worden ingegaan op de epidemiologie, de mogelijke wijze van overdracht en de waarschijnlijkheid van een seksueel contact als overdrachtsmechanisme. De diagnostiek, de differentieel diagnostische overwegingen, de behandeling en de prognose worden per soa beschreven.
