Kernpunten

  • In de tonsillaire crypten kunnen zich etensresten, bacteriën en epitheelcellen verzamelen, waardoor in de crypten witte brokjes zichtbaar worden.
  • Deze witte brokjes zijn onschuldig en behoeven zelden behandeling.
  • Bij foetor ex ore (halitose) moet gekeken worden naar de behandelmogelijkheden.
