Kernpunten

  • Wratten worden veroorzaakt door een infectie met het humaan papillomavirus.
  • Tweederde van alle wratten verdwijnt binnen twee jaar zonder behandeling.
  • Wratten hoeven alleen behandeld te worden als ze hinder geven.
  • Bij handwratten is aanstippen met stikstof het effectiefst.
  • Bij voetzoolwratten is aanstippen met monochloorazijnzuur het effectiefst.
