Samenvatting

Zelfbeschadiging is een belangrijk onderwerp in de differentiaaldiagnose van kindermishandeling. Dit hoofdstuk laat de verschillende vormen van zelfbeschadiging zien en gaat in op de (internationaal) gebruikte terminologie. Specifieke risicofactoren voor zelfbeschadiging worden besproken. Tot slot wordt duidelijk hoe je zelfbeschadiging kunt herkennen en welke aanpak het meest passend is.
